# Verae Timestamping — Windows amd64

Frozen Windows amd64 CLI, GUI, and optional hasher for Verae digests-only timestamping.

## Install

```bat

| `verae-sha256.exe` | Optional local hasher (`x86_64-pc-windows-gnu`, hasher 0.1.2) |

Architecture: **PE32+ x86-64 (amd64)**. Not code-signed (SmartScreen may warn). Not Microsoft Store.

## Usage

```bat
verae-timestamp.exe set-defaults --url https://mcp.verae.ai/mcp --scope global --output text
verae-timestamp.exe register .\contract.pdf
verae-timestamp.exe verify .\contract.pdf
verae-timestamp.exe hash .\contract.pdf
verae-timestamp-gui.exe
```

GUI: Add files → Hash / Register / Verify; export JSON / CSV / Text. Config/auth/receipts under `%USERPROFILE%\.verae\`. Place `verae-sha256.exe` beside the GUI (or set `VERAE_SHA256_BIN`) for faster hashing.

Rebuild (maintainer): `./scripts/build-windows-exe.sh` in the client repo (Wine + embeddable CPython 3.12 + PyInstaller). Built 2026-10-09 (0.2.1; bundles the Qt platform plugin that 0.2.0 was missing). Previous 0.2.0 files: `0.2.0/`.
